The content and words of advice are sound. The premise is actually obvious but worth repeating to those on their own financial journeys: the quickest way to compounding your networth is stacking your "assets" and keeping your liabilities low.
The book comes across a little "sleazy" at times. There are too many wishy washy statements about the optimal way to grow your net worth but there is very little detail. The book is good at exploring concepts at a high level and may ignite some sort of spark within you to make a seismic change in the way you approach your finances. If it succeeds in doing this for you, then it has done its job.
I do not think the book presents as a 4* read but I will give the benefit of the doubt that the information is invaluable especially for youngsters.

If I could give this book a negative star, I would. The author is a self-important blow hard with nothing legitimate to add to the field of personal finance.
