The very clear condescension got old pretty quickly. His diagrams of assets/liabilities were useful for visualization. Other helpful tidbits were 'buy low, sell high' and buy foreclosures,  and resell them for profit. Neither of these things were either new or particularly helpful. "Learn to be finacially literate" was the overall arching point of the book, which is why I was reading the book in the first place, but it was light on actual info and facts. I only read this because I'd heard about it forever, but honestly skip it. Also, according to his Wiki page Dec. 2024, he's 1 billion dollars in debt.

Being rich is not that easy as Robert Kiyosaki demonstrated in this book. Moreover, if some methods works for him, as a miracle, this doesn't mean it will work for readers as well. Although this is one of five first English book that I read and no doubt it helps me to read more books and increase my interest for reading books in English. However, I don't think that this book will be of any help to person who want to be financially free. You can disagree with me but this is what I have found.

Quick summary, start investing as early as you can, you can probably do it earlier then you think. This allows your money to work for you and if you're at the beginning you can weather the risk. There now you can skip some of the authors more questionable advice and comparisons. There are some helpful principals in the book which mostly sums up with keep your assets higher than your liabilities and I would suggest reading an intro to personal finances book or course instead.

Kinda vague but inspiring none-the-less. A good read for the financially illiterate.

Big ideas with big potential. A daunting book at first that leaves you with a heightened interest to learn new facets of finance. This books provides a lot of great lessons that many would be afraid of. But if you don’t learn how can you be successful?
