this book wow. this book made me feel. this book made me fall in love with rory like this book is filled with every high school girl's insecurities about the popular boy except he shows her thats not who he is at every turn and protects her from her slimeball ex. the dragon part literally its my black cat heart DREAM. i dont even know how to review it because like i loved so much i will spoil it and i cant. but rory is there at every turn for hazel and stephanie archer if you ever see this i have read almost every single book you have ever wrote and i truly think this is a gold mine. i love this series so much

i had so much fun reading this book. Earlier this year i read BEHIND THE NET AND ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT . WHEN I SAW THAT WAS AVAILABLE FOR ARC REQUESTS I OFC Had to sign up for it . What i never expected was to receive it .

i love that it had no 3rd act breakup considering those are a big ick for me . This book also lacked miscommunication another ick for me in books

I loved that the mmc basically loved her for years and she didnt know it . He already liked her from the first page of this book and i absolutely loved that. He was not an ex fboy and that’s rare to see in hockey romance books .
~ THE SEX IN THIS BOOK WAS BUILT UP TO AND WASNT RUSHED INTO and i loved that.
the spice in this book is actually super sweet . it didnt feel over the top and i loved that.
THE ISSUES SURROUNDING RORY AND HIS DAD WAS EXPLOREd well . i loved seeing rory reunite with his mom and form a bond with her again after many years of not speaking.
