5/5 ⛸️🏒⛸️🏒⛸️

"I think maybe I’ve always loved her, because this feeling in my chest isn’t new. I just have a name for it now."

Rory and Hazel have my whole heart and this book was just the sweetest (and spiciest) perfection!

Every single moment between Rory and Hazel made me kick my feet and squeal and laugh and swoon and just burst with giddy happiness.

"'I love you," she says quietly, searching my gaze. All I can hear is my pulse beating in my ears; all I can see is Hazel. "I was scared to say it. I’m still scared, but—" She cuts herself off, biting her lip, studying me as my heart does somersaults. "I always want you to know you’re loved." Christ, my heart. My sweet, terrified Hazel is handing me her fragile trust to hold in the palm of my hand. I’ll do anything to protect it."

I loved that Rory was so honest about his feelings for Hazel and that he never let her walk away, he kept fighting for her and for them, because he cared so damn much.
And I loved Hazel's philosophy about feeling good within yourself and finding the things that make you feel worthy.

"Everyone deserves to move and feel good in their body. Everyone deserves to love themselves."

Their simultaneous progression to teach each other, and learn themselves - Rory to show Hazel that it was alright to be vulnerable and share her emotions, and Hazel to show Rory that everyone deserves love and to feel joy and passion in what they do - was such a beautiful story to follow and they were just the perfect compliment to each other in every way.

"He steps into my space. "Now be a good fake girlfriend, Hartley, and let me kiss you.'"

The teasing and flaunting of the "fake" relationship was so much fun and all the times they stirred the shit were so enjoyable and hilarious. The spicy photos were great too and all the more sexy because it was all a bit secret and scandalous.

I truly loved how the story all came together though, with both Rory and Hazel fixing and building upon their relationships with their parents and finding new purpose in their careers. And I'm just so happy their found their joy together.

"I forget we’re in the bar. I forget this is fake. When Rory Miller kisses me, I forget what it’s like to have my heart broken."

- - extra quote cause I LOVE them!

"I hate Rory Miller’s stupid fucking arrogant grin. I hate it so much that I think about it all the time."
