Better than the first book in this series. The pace was quick with short chapters, but the burn was nicely slow.

I thought the first one was good, somehow though, this one was even better. Once I got into it, I couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters and their relationship so much. There’s just something about the whole ‘black cat - golden retriever’ vibes that always itches my brain just right. 10/10 book, happy reading!

I didn’t expect to like this book this much… I loved it more than the first book… Rory is literally amazing and he is so I love with hazel it’s insane.. hazel is so sweet and she was so hurt I loved her since the first book. Ive been so excited to read about them since the first book. Her relationship with pippa is amazing and I love her love for her parents. The way Rory changed and became the best version of himself , just to be the man hazel wants and that helped him so much and to reconcile his relationship with his parents was everything. Loved it so much
