Okay, this book was a bit better then the first in the series, but still felt a little bland to me. I felt like there wasn’t any major character development. It felt like nothing was really happening.

The story of Hazel and Rory has been memorable to me. The fake dating and the guy falls first tropes have matched well with the funny banters and competitiveness of the main characters. Oh, let's not forget the sizzling spice. 🌶

I also appreciated how they journeyed toward becoming their best selves for themselves and for their partners. Body positivity has also been a highlight in this book. I admired how this emphasized becoming the right space to land on for people who struggle navigating self-love.

I liked the first one more to be very honest. Everything was soooo fast in this book, the kiss, their relationship etc.
There was no big drama and they just loved each other from the beginning. Which isn’t bad, but still. I feel like it could’ve been better a bit.
Gonna read the next ones still
