I wish I could’ve given this book a better rating, the story is so interesting and some of the plot twist had me on my seat. There’s just some parts that don’t make sense or don’t feel relevant at all. The flashbacks were kind of random and I wish they were more frequent. Also Zoe’s character felt like she only existed to move everyone else’s story which is disappointing because I really liked her character.

Also maybe this is picky but I liked Dallas so….

I've read and finished 2 Wendy Heard books now and sh does not disappoint. Any future book from her will be an auto-read for me. Her story just flows together so seamlessly and keeps you turning pages to see what happens next. Even the build up to her twists is subtle but pack a punch when revealed. Any time I'm in a reading slump or just want something I can read quickly and enjoy immensely I'm turning to Wendy Heard.

I mostly found this boring and knew who the bad guy was as soon as they were introduced a bit of a let down really

A decent book, but very straightforward and predictable.
