I hated it. I hated every ridiculous second of it. The whole idea of being on sacred land and stealing their legends is awful. Tatum had no actual personality other than being hot, horny, and good at kick boxing. The Night Keepers are CRIMINALS who deserve to be IN JAIL. Monroe is a PREDATOR WHO BELONGS IN JAIL. This whole school is full of people who are neglectful at BEST and BELONG IN JAIL.
But sure. Lust after these assholes, Tatty, in your push up sports bras. Ugh. NO. STRAIGHT TO JAIL.

Tiktok did not let me down, yet again.
Tatum's dad makes her go to the exclusive everlake prep where she first meets blake who seems like the perfect guy. One secret ruins it all and she is made to be nightbound to Blake and his friends.
What happens next is just hell on earth but she deals with it and plans her revenge.
Part of a series that bleeds into others in the world.

This was definitely not a read I expected. I started in with intentions of just starting to read again. I got into it then it smacked me so hard that I did not even expect. It is raunchy. BUT nevertheless I really enjoyed this book.
I did go into this book not knowing a darn thing about this book and it did not disappoint. I will say I giggle every time I felt how close it is to real life when it comes to the 'plague'.
Overall, would recommend this read, just know its not for kids even if its about highschoolers.
Starting book 2 now :)

Dark, cruel and addictive
This is one of the darker books I have read, but also one of the most addictive. The torment that Tatum experiences is truly vile at times. Their bullying is psychological and with a side of terrorist torture techniques. They are all broken. Dark. Wanting to feel emotions that they are numb too and all differing in how they do that. Saint is the worse and will be the hardest for me to redeem. Kyan and Monroe both have secrets. They are the most similar. Broody but still some part of them that is honorable. Kyan seems to be adrift seeking a direction and Tatum may just be that. Monroe is so focused on vengeance that he has lost parts of himself and can only see the hatred. Tatum challenges him and reminds him to feel something else. Blake, I think started off as the closest to good but grief has jaded him and made him unable to see anything else. I think once he accepts his grief he will be able to see his connection for what it is. Saint... I want to think typical rich entitled kid. Probably experienced some abuse from dad hence his need for control and perfection. I hope Tatum will give him something to see the softer side of things. Some spontaneity and a reason to trust his heart. But I think his journey will be the hardest. Tatum is fierce and vulnerable at the same time. Age has experienced grief and pain. She has been taught to take care of herself and survive. She finds connections with the guys that she thought she would never fine again. There is more to her story as well though I’m not sure how she will forgive Saint for the letters. I was breaking with her over that. I love her relationship with Monroe and I hope he sees that sooner then later. Addictive. Intense. Dark. Multiple POVs. Some medium steam that looks like it will increase as relationships advance more. I can’t wait to read more.

wow this book had my in the grips the whole time!!!!! I don't even know what to feel. i was on an emotional roller coster and I wanna go again!
Tatum being this survivalist type girl raised by her father who ended up not looking for the cure to this deadly virus but releasing it??? And then to have the kings of her boarding school turn on her as a result - making her life hell and making her a pariah by association?!?!
Each guy has there own story to tell obviously but the common thread is that they want Tatum and they don't want to want her.

I love the draw of a good RH like anyone, but this was a bully romance as well. That’s normally ok, but this AWFUL. ‘Bully’ doesn’t encapsulate the depths of Stockholm Syndrome that the MFC was experiencing. ONE SEX SCENE and then LOTS of tension. The tension and almost sex throughout the book was not worth the 650 pages I had to read to just get to a weird cliffhanger.
LOVED the writing style of the author, and what’s truly what kept me engaged.
