a MARKED improvement over the first book. however, as i cannot remove it from the context of that terrible first book (and this one contained its own… questionable moments…), i can’t justify rating it any higher

This book is amazing. Best sequel I have ever read. Much better than the first(not to say that one was bad, obv).

gruesome and exhausting read. i do not like these characters and i do not like their motivations. idk its probably just me but why are there SO MANY unnecessary sex scenes 😭 idk i will still read the last volume buuuut

Really glad I stuck with this series! Book 2 really ups the stakes and I’m excited and terrified to see how it all plays out in 3
