Holy fuck. I just finished reading this, and it might be the after book glow talking, but wow was this good. It was so good I’m probably gonna buy a physical copy.
The build up, the romance, the FEELINGS bro.

May or may not have shed a few tears at work, but I work at a desk that rarely sees other humans so no harm no foul.
It was wonderful. I felt connected to the people, the characters. It’s been a while since a book has made me feel this hard.
I am a pretty easy going person I like to think. Not every book I read needs to wow me, inspire some great emotion, or make me fall in love with the characters. You get a few laughs out of me and if the writing style is pretty easily digestible, I’m good. I’m happy. I don’t need anything else.
But this dude.
This book was fantastic. The world, the characters, and so much more. It felt genuine. It presented real problems that don’t go away with the first experience of hot alien/cyborg cock. Which I mean, I’m not opposed to problems like that but I digress.
What I’m saying is, read it. If your looking for a quick non emotional smut fest where female lead bones male lead quickly and then their in love, this isn’t for you. This book deserves some thoughtful chewing, not just mindless devouring. You won’t regret reading it.

This was actually pretty good, but midway through it just didn't keep my attention. I may or may not go back to it. 🤷♀️
Great beginning. Snooze fest, unnecessary side quests, could’ve cut 50-100 pages middle. Excellent ending.
Oh my god the audacity of that epilogue for making me cry so hard. I am a Tiffany Roberts fangirl, and this one did not disappoint. I loved Ronin and Lara. The world is complex and nuanced. I appreciated that this wasn’t an instalove story. That’s my only real gripe with TR books. I liked this one as a standalone, but I almost wish it was a series.
