Just WOW. Truly incredible series. Crouch really left his heart and soul in this series and it was so amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a book in 12 hours but I couldn’t put this down. The way he builds anticipation throughout the series is brilliant and to let it all come out in The Last Town was truly some of the best writing I’ve seen.

I went into this series blind and relatively unknown and that’s what I’d recommend here too. You have an idea of what Ethan’s plan is but the execution is going to keep you on your feet.

Well, JEEZ. Holy freaking bajeezus. This was one heck of a ride. Wish I could read the hypothetical fourth book that I wish came next.

As much as I do think this was a solid end to this series, a lot of the dialogue felt very cheesy to me. I feel like we’ve gotten so much better out of Crouch in his other books, this one read like a young adult novel at times.

Regardless, I do still love this series, I’m sad it’s over, and I hope one day we actually get a good tv or movie adaptation.
