I read this is a day. Yes, within 24hrs. This series is addicting. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this before now.
Aurora grows closer to each of the men but is realistically hesitant since they betrayed her in book 1. She becomes more embedded in the secret society by assisting Remington and Cain. Stellan is more confused than ever over his feelings for aurora and his mistrust concerning her past with his sister. Pax is still a nightly comfort but a daily splash of coldness.
Running off to book 3

Wow! This was a ride. I haven’t read anything this dark in a while. So prepare yourself for major trigger warnings. It is much darker than the first. The bully romance aspect evolves into a war on both Aurora’s and the boy’s part which I prefer in a bully romance. I think Remington might be my favorite right now. His backstory is heartbreaking and was a huge focus of the plot. We are left with so many questions about who is watching Aurora between the cult who follows her father, the demon himself and the boys. That cliffhanger was rough! But I may need a fluffy book before I can continue this crazy ride.
