I can see why the format and writing of this book might not be for everyone but I enjoyed it greatly. Told in four parts, I really began to enjoy the story once we reach the second story. As someone who has been to Japan, I really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created and the set up of the characters. It was easy to imagine myself in the cafe and as it progressed, I became more and more invested in their lives. I really look forward to how the host of characters change in future books
