3.5 - I think I would have liked it more if I hadn’t read it over the course year

I really wanted to like this book but I struggled to warm up to the characters and get through this book.

This has to be my favorite book this year and one of my favorites of all time!! It took me a second to get used to the narration style but once I did I thoroughly enjoyed it, it reminded me a little of Lemony Snicket. I haven't found myself liking and rooting for every single character in a book like I did with this one in a while. The plot was great, the writing style was amazing, and I loved the way the author kept giving us pieces of the puzzle in every chapter. I highly recommend it!
