This book reminds me of an Oscar Wilde fairytale. It's whimsical, funny, and cleverly written, offset by a downer ending and a thoroughly bitter (but not unwarranted) take on the human condition. It will give thoughtful kids something to ponder.

Fox 8 is a 52 page letter to humans written by a clever fox who needs answers to some pretty hefty questions. I adore foxes. They are one of my favourite animals so reading this was simultaneously cute, funny, and heartbreaking. It was brilliant!
Side note: I don't why, but the way this was written had me reading it in a Cockney accent!
