It gave off What Moves the Dead and Mexican Gothic vibes, but still a good morbid read. Didn’t care for any of the characters though.

A visceral story about addiction, toxic relationships, grief, loss, and letting go of what haunts you. Would definitely recommend!

This is NOT a horror book
It’s really just a boring coming of age book.  With really sad characters that can’t move on and need approval. 

It was a 1.5 star book for me. I rounded up to 2 bc the writing was very descriptive. It gave me great visuals.
