i enjoyed it for the most part. i feel like while it portrayed addiction very well it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. i feel like this is a very solid 4  - 3.5 star book.

also, fuck silas and that stupid baby.

This book keeps you sucked in, you can’t put it down or stop thinking about it. Do you want to get haunted? I found myself with the ending pages, when all things came together just repeating “what the fck” over and over. As someone afraid of dying, it isn’t exactly helping 😂 my anxiety levels right now having just finished…binging Disney and just repeating “fiction means fake “

I honestly expected more of a horror story featuring ghosts. I ended up with a commentary on drug abuse and addiction. Which wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't expecting something else entirely. I'm usually one with a strong stomach (I have to be as a trauma nurse) but this sickened me so much, it's a miracle I got through it.
