This was definitely a slow burn. It didn’t feel like a lot happened in this book. I also felt like the two plot lines were very disjointed. The two main character’s stories connection felt a little forced. The plot “twist” was also a little bit of a let down. Still and entertain read.

It has been a couple months since reading this and getting around to the review, but I remember really enjoying this book. I loved the tension and the twist and turns, and I am sorry I could not have predicted the plot-twist here and how interlinked the characters really were. It was such a tragic story overall but it did keep me on the edge of my seat a little, as I was curious to find out what had happened really to Amy and the circumstances that led to her death.
A really great book!

Thank you #NetGalley and PENGUIN GROUP Putnam, G.P. Putnam's Sons for allowing me to read this book. After a shocking death at a luxurious Italian resort, two very different women must question everything—and everyone—they love in order to untangle truth from lies in this twisty, captivating read.I really liked this book and it interested me enough to read it in one sitting.
