It was pure chance that I picked this book up at all - and it was one of the most touching and awe-inspiring things i've read in a long time. I don't agree with everything. But what a wonderful few hours these were to spent in the jungle.

DID NOT FINISH

Just couldn’t get interested in a story about a privileged white girl finding herself in the jungle. Meh.

This is such a vivid, raw and open memoir that chronicles Coleman’s transformative journey in Patagonia, where she encounters the wild beauty of the land and its creatures. Immersed in the rugged landscapes, she discovers the profound connection between nature and personal growth. Coleman's evocative prose paints a picture of soaring mountains, vibrant wildlife, and her evolving relationship with the land. This enchanting tale captures the essence of adventure, self-discovery, and the spirit of the puma that roams free.
Wayra stuck with me, I still think of her long after I finished this book.
