3.5 stars - I wish I liked this book as much as I liked the first one (Should've been 3 stars but the ending got me) I still love the plot and the characters but I just felt some things got so repetitive, every character started thinking the same damn things I kept forgetting from what POV i was currently reading.. and then there was all these lines that just had me rolling my eyes. There's also this focus on romance that you wouldn't really expect in my opinion and some of it feels so forced and out of place it didn't come naturally so most of the time i just sat there thinking "really..? when did that happen"

I still enjoyed the book though, the plot is amazing and kept my interest and god the endings in this series are just so great they know how to make you want to read the next book..... Can't wait to see how the story continues

One thing I appreciate about this book is the ability that it has to build up momentum and have you glued to the moment and the pages. You’re always learning more about the characters and who they are as people. I also enjoy that even though each character has distinct character traits, they also maintain depth.
