Tak jakby ktoś chciał napisać scenariusz, ale napisał książkę. Dużo niepotrzebnych żarcików. Poza tym każdy tam leci na każdego, ciężko znieść tę burzę hormonów.

Overall, I liked this more than the first book. Drama was ramped up, and it did better at avoiding the second book problem that trilogies often fall into. As a reader, I was kept raptured by the story, and tried to finish the entire book as quickly as possible, taking under 24 hours compared to the 48 hours it took me to complete the first novel. The characters and their interpersonal relations were all better handled, and the cliffhanger makes me excited to start on the third novel. That being said, it still wasn't something I really liked -- it's very easy to get lost in the story, up until these characters spend a couple of paragraphs describing a person's looks, or trying to avoid a person's looks, and then the reminder that these characters are all teenagers comes back into play. For some reason, the story also strongly reminds me of other media I've watched and played -- there are a lot of elements in common that mean that the story so far has been relatively easy to predict. That's not to say that originality is a boon to be prized above all else, but the predictability of it does put a damper on my enjoyment of the book. That being said, despite its flaws, I still really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to finishing the series.

"I am not feeling nothing"

Glad to finally be back into this series. What a great group of characters. I enjoy each of their stories. Auri and Kal's relationship is growing in this and I really love it. I wasn't expecting Tyler's story to go where it does but I had an absolutely wonderful time with it. This book was both hilarious and heartbreaking from start to finish. Had a great time and excited to see where the final book goes. The reason I'm rating it 4.5 stars and just because there are some moments where I would lose a bit of interest. It thankfully does pick up quickly after those moments but it did happen a few times.

Aurora Burning
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was time to jump into this world again, and I didn't know what to expect at all. I have been hesitant to pick it up as my thoughts about the first book were pure chaos, but oh did this surprise me-
This book cleared up all the leftovers of my confusion and it was amazing! I'm truly annoyed at myself for staying away from this for so long...It´s been on my shelves for months, honestly.
The humor is chef´s kiss and it's full of action. I loved the characters, loved the world building, loved the plot- you get it, I loved everything about it.
This is the kind of book that makes me forget I´m an actual person who's reading, instead of living another life. These twists kept coming out of nowhere, and I was shocked on multiple occasions (sorry to my sisters who had to listen to my outbursts and rants...)
Anyway, I can't WAIT to read the next book!
