Better than the first book! I think this one veered closer to YA than middle grade, especially with the more direct references to sex and the character development of Auri. I hated the weird sexual tension between Kal's sister and Tyler, the idea that he has no control over his attraction to her is weird. I also didn't understand how all of them turned on Kal just because his dad is a genocide guy, he was clearly opposed to the genocide.

Im so pissed off I fall for the hope I won’t get hurt each book. But HERE I AM! The pain just feels so good.

The character interactions have improved since the last book. I found myself skipping ahead in the story to see what happens to the characters, so this was a really interesting and captivating book. Only 4 stars because the language/attitudes of the characters still bother me a bit, but not as badly as in the first book. The drama does make me a little anxious though!

Oh my god
I have no words... I thought it couldn't get better but Kaufman and Kristoff have somehow done it.

This was A COMPLETE roller coaster of emotions.

I gotta say I predicted almost all of the plot twists way ahead but nevertheless it was still enjoyable to see them play through.

I am so ANGRY though how could they do me like that with that endingggg.

Once I was hooked, I couldn't set this one down. The sequel yet again perfectly combines comedy, action, romance, mystery and bad-assery perfectly.

How will I be able to wait a WHOLE year for the next one?!?!

That cliff hanger was cruel.
