Claus and Effect may share loose ties with Single and Ready to Jingle, but this new holiday romance from the writing duo of Piper Rayne totally works as a standalone. This was a fun addition to my holiday romance pile, which is slowly but surely growing. Tessa and Tre's story had some major enemies-to-lovers feels and the tension was palpable between these two main characters, but they also brought loads of humor as they joined forces to make their way to Portland. It took a bit for me to see Tessa and Tre clicking, but once that chemistry and compatibility clicked in, there was no way I couldn't cheer them on to their merrily-ever-after. Four stars!

This is seriously one of the most fun Holiday books I’ve ever read!! It had me laughing out loud.
Tessa and Tre have an unexpected meet cute on an airplane and instantly dont get along. None of that matters when they’re stranded at the airport and there’s only one rental car left.
Throughout their drive they have so many unexpected stops and they’re all holiday related. Giant Gingerbread houses, Christmas festivals, egg nog.. it’s all so perfect. This book screams Christmas the entire time.
They run into their fair share of bad luck along the way. But is it bad luck or fate?! Ahhhh this book is just so fun! Oh, and did I forget to add there’s a huge BOMB dropped I never saw coming?!
Seriously. 10/10. All the stars. Add this one to your Holiday TBR! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This was a fun read. The enemy strangers to lovers chemistry and banter was done really well. I laughed out loud. It’s not overly Christmas-y, just takes place around Christmas. Wasn’t expecting that plot twist lol

Well that was freaking adorable. I loved these two. The banter and just overall chemistry bounced right off the page. I’m a sucker for a hero who falls first and hard and gets growly, we have all this here. I had a feeling I knew where this was going, but the twist was even better than I was expecting even. I loved it.
Claus and Effect is a cute holiday read. In this book we meet Tessa and Tre. After a psychic tells Tessa to go after the love of her life she gets on a plane to go surprise him. She keeps running into a military guy she calls GI Joe (Tre). Holiday chaos in sues and Tessa and Tre are forced to travel across the county together using multiple modes of transportation and lots of adventures along the way.
