If you love a forced proximity/road trip Christmas romance, this book is for you!

Made respect for when a cutesy holiday rom com can make me audibly gasp out loud with shock because holy crap I didn’t see that coming

This was my first story by Piper Rayne and I was not disappointed. I loved everything about this adorable Holiday rom-com! The meet-cute, the grumpy-sunshine vibe with dual POV. The forced proximity was all perfect for these characters with lots of misadventures along the way. The story was filled with just the right balance of humor, heart and festive holiday feels.

I love characters who are a little broken, but together make sense. These two are definitely better together.

If you want a story where the characters have some snark, this is it! The heroine is feisty and the hero gives it back. I was not expecting a little plot twist in a holiday book, but lo and behold one came and it had my mouth on the floor!

I laughed a lot and rooted for them just as much. They needed each other in their lives. A guaranteed happily ever after, but some bumps in the road to get there.

a solid 3 stars ⭐️

this book was alright. it wasn’t my favorite holiday book i’ve read so far this season. the storyline of Tessa and Clark was a good one but i almost didn’t like Tessa at the beginning because of her attitude. both characters had redeeming qualities. but i do think that Christmas overload in this book was a bit much, even for my taste.

overall, an okay read. don’t know if i would read another book by this author but i guess i’ll just have to see.
