this book literally had me jumping around in anticipation

there were only one or two cringy scenes which was good

my main problem is why we never got to see her grieve from losing her best friend. the healing from Josh was amazing but what abt the best friend?

also her ptsd and sleep trouble was briefly mentioned but then never brought up again

i also feel like their college and learning to be an adult should have been a bigger part of the story but otherwise it was awesome

worst thing i have read

OKAY LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THAT THIS BOOK IS ONE THAT I HAD TBR'D SINCE 2014!! I'm so proud of myself!! For once I am reading something that is deep within my list that I'm not reading because it is being adapted into something or another.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure this is my first Ginger Scott book and it most definitely will not be my last. This was wonderful and so delicate it seemed? I don't know how else to put it but I felt like if I breathed wrong I would interrupt it, you know?

Nate and Rowe were perfect. Nate was patient and understanding and I just... I don't really have anything bad to say. Maybe once it's not so fresh I will have something but I highly doubt it. I laughed and cried with these characters and I have no regrets.

I'm so incredibly surprised and glad I decided to read this book.
First of all I'd like to say that I'm falling in love with new adult books, they just feel so...relatable.
This story is told from two POV's, Rowe's and Nate's; she's a broken girl trying to suvive a traumatic situation that happened in her life and he's just a boy working hard to be a great basaball player, and then they met each other.
As you can see this sounds really cliché but a) I like clichés; b) there's so much more in this book.
I got very attached to these characters, watching them getting stronger and how their relationship grew just made me fly through the pages. I've related with both of the protagonists, not their stories exactly but how they felt so it was really easy to love them.
It was sweet and heartbreaking sometimes and god I really liked it!
The writing was simple and very easy to read, plus it had lots of hilarious dialogues and that just made me love it even more.
A very nice book from the genre and I'm looking forward to read more books of the author.

Soon will be at my blog.

If i’m honest, I was expecting something a little more. I did like the characters and the story for the most part. It definitely wasn’t fair for her parents to put that on Nate and I kinda don’t understand the point of it. Idk I just feel like something was missing and I don’t know what that is. I did enjoy the book though. Maybe it was also that I wished more happened?

5 Stars

I loved it. The characters were totally relate able and so endearing and Nate... Well he is amazing. Major point to Ginger Scott for including in Florida State and I can't wait to read he next book! December 5th can't come soon enough. I think Ginger and Autumn Doughton have really gotten me into this whole NA thing.
