First and foremost, a huge THANKS to Deanna @A Novel Glimpse who not only recommended this book to me, but also lent me her kindle book so I could read it. THANK YOU!!!

This is such a beautiful story about young love, pain, acceptance, and learning how to live again and move on… trying to balance your memories with your live. It was so heartbreaking at times. I absolutely loved the writing… having already read the fourth book in this series last month, In Your Dreams, I knew that I would like it, but I still saw some light differences, and thought that the story flowed very well, and the writing had a certain lyrical element to it.

I really enjoyed both main characters and thought they were kind of perfect for each other. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming to see Rowe trying to cope and move on from the events of her past. I’m not sure how anyone can keep moving after that to be honest. She was stuck, and every little step she took towards moving, was amazing. The process of opening up her life to new friends and to Nate was slow, but rewarding, and I loved to see her friendship with Cass and Paige grow, as well as with Ty and Nate (though Nate was always more).

Nate was kind of messy perfect, or as perfect as any 19 yo can be. I really liked that he took his time and made sure that things were right for Rowe and him. But he was too damn nice sometimes, lol. But the way he loved her… oh wow!

The relationship was so sweet and cute. I loved the banter and the pranks, and the quiet moments. The acceptance and understanding. And I absolutely loved the inclusion and the importance of both families.

The secondary characters were awesome, and I can’t wait to read Ty and Cass’s story, because Ty was probably my favorite character in the mix.

Again, I’m really glad I started this series, and I can’t wait to keep going.

This was seriously the cutest story ever. I loved Nate & Rowe’s relationship. Nate was the perfect character + I love how patient he was with Rowe. Definitely a reread.

This is my first book by Ginger Scott and I gotta say, I've loved it!
This book is another romance of my kind of books (like PTSD, broken heroes/heroines, etc.). This one if about Rowe, young girl from Arizona that goes to college outside her hometown. Two years before, her boyfriend and best friend were shot in her school and since then she hasn't been the same. There comes Nate, baseball player, one of the best ones actually. And here comes the love on the first sight. The journey continues through the following months while we watch how the love between Rowe and Nate builds and grows stronger every day. The problem is that Rowe's high school sweetheart (the one who was shot), is lying in his bed, living thank to the tubes and she is feeling guilty. And even though this is not one of those happy happily ever after, it is still happily ever after.
May sounds basic or even boring, but it's amazing!! It's cute, it's cheesy, it's funny, it's basically everything I'm looking for in books. I totally love Rowe and Nate! I don't usually like love-at-the-first-sight stories, but this one got me stuck in it, deeply. They are like a match made in heaven! I liked how Rowe has changed trough the book and it wasn't rushed (like most of the books are). And also she was majoring in art and history, which is more than cool. And then Nate, gosh, I wish every book-boyfriend would be like him!! I love how he wasn't one of those players and truly cared about others and how he had never given up on Rowe. I kind of missed the presence of the minor characters because I think they could be there more, but whatever. And maybe I would like it even better if the author would press more into this heavy topic because I don't think it was that major here. But it was still a heartbreaking story which made you heart-warming in the end! Excited for the story of Ty and Cass next!
