Wow! I totally love me some college angst books, but this was just so much better! The drama, the characters, the love were so well written. I cannot wait to read the next book, which focuses on Ty and Cass whom I already adore.

Sadly, I don't think this was the book for me (sorry Jasmine! *hides* lol).

This Is Falling is the story of reclusive Rowe, yet another new adult heroine who does not see that she is amazing and has the popular hot guy fawning all over her within a matter of minutes. Normally I'm all for the damaged heroine plots, but for some reason this one didn't really stick with me. Maybe if the author told Rowe's story earlier on in the book I might have cared about her issues more? Anyways, this is the story of how Rowe and Nate meet and fall in love within a 3 weeks time period.

“And it happens all at once—just looking at him, I fall in love. But it doesn’t matter—because I can belong to no one.”

Don't get me wrong, this book was really sweet and I did enjoy it, but it didn't have much of a wow factor for me. So, I liked this book, but did not love it. I didn't find anything particularly special about either of the MC's and honestly, Nate just always seemed too good to be true.
He was understanding, fell for her right away when he saw her plain cotton panties, played baseball, was guaranteed an awesome career and made Rowe have awesome orgasms? Nah girl, that doesn't happen in real life :P

“I’m not angry at Rowe, I’m angry at myself for falling for her—for falling for a girl who can’t let herself be mine to love.”

What I did love about the book, was the side characters Cass and Ty. I am pretty darn excited that they get their own book! But on the subject of Ty.... Why the hell was he on the third floor of the dorm and not the first? I would think it'd be an issue if he couldn't get to and from his room because the elevator broke down. (I lived in a 9th floor dorm room, believe me when I say that the darn elevators actually do break down in dorms!) Sorry to rant, but that really bugged me.

This book was also way too much instalove for my taste. So in the end, I would say this book was enjoyable, but I didn't love it. I think other people other than me would thoroughly enjoy this and I'd have no problems recommending it.

"You are the face in all of my dreams and the smile I see when I close my eyes. Your voice when you sing in the shower late at night, when you think you’re alone, is like music to my ears.”

This is my favorite Ginger Scott novel so far.

I know I’ve said before that I was really able to connect with and relate to a character, but I have never, and probably will never again, relate to a character like I did Rowe. She suffers from anxiety because of a past trauma, and she sometimes has panic attacks because of it. I’m not going to lie, her anxiety about things was way worse than mine, but I could still relate. The feelings that she had when she was met with something that made her anxious are feelings that I can relate to all too well.

I really, really loved how the story progressed. I’m not going to lie, when I found out what the trauma in Rowe’s past was I cried, because it hit fairly close to home with an experience I’d had. My experience was different, but I could still relate; it was still a punch to the gut. I liked watching Rowe grow and learn to handle her issues with the help of Cass and, mostly, Nate. I also really loved the relationship between Cass and Ty, Nate’s brother. I can’t wait to see more of them! This story was just heart wrenching and funny and uplifting, and a bunch of other good things all rolled into one. I really just want to go running around and making everyone read this book! I would definitely recommend it, and I hope you all check it out!

3.5 stars. This reminded me of Wait For Me by Jennifer Armentrout. Which I really like, and I did enjoy this. I liked that her past was pretty different then most female protagonists. I liked that Nate wasn't the stereotypical bad boy. Ty cracked me up. The conflict bugged me a bit. I know she's going through a lot, but I wish she'd seen how hard it was for Nate to tell her. And since when does the guy tell the truth instead of lying to "protect them" still turn out badly. I really wish her dad didn't tell him in the first place.

Okay, so in truth it's like 1,5 but I can't give it full 2 stars. I just can't. It wasn't THAT bad to deserve the "did not like" category but it was just BARELY okay.

I read the first half in one sitting. It was a little addicting and enjoyable but at the halfway point it seemed to be a little long and dragged out so I skimmed some chapters in the second half and couldn't help comparing it to the Ivy Years series because I love the length of those novels. Overall, it wasn't too bad though. A little cliche, but mostly cute.
