This book ate so good and I'm a romance girlie so I was pleasantly surprised because I LOVEDDDDD this
Super compelling - will echo the review that the first scene absolutely hooks you in. Would love to see this adapted for the screen, and would love to see Christopher Briney take his audio performance to the screen, also - break his teen heartthrob mold with this role. Isabela Merced was great, as well, but I don’t think she physically embodies Crystal as she’s described. Fingers crossed Amazon Studios puts this in development quickly.
Very scary and not for the easily shocked, this story with a persuasive, charismatic and clever teenage psychopath as its main character feels all too possible for me. I would recommend it for older teens as there are several disturbing scenes and I say that having been a keen Stephen King reader as an early teen.

I love the authors writing style, and the premise for his stories. This one tried way too hard to fit everything in one tight book that character development became far too generalized, that it feels like they lost the plot.
Chilling and all too realistic, this was an anxiety-filled ride from beginning to end. Dual narration brought it to life in the best way possible. (Warning--real car sounds, beware when driving!)

Enjoyable YA thriller. The narration was well done, and it was a quick listen. I liked that sound effects were included, but not overdone.
