Oh boy, this one I genuinely enjoyed personally. The writing is quick and funny and really brings out the character's personalities. It makes the narrative all the more enjoyable. It also has some strikingly sincere moments. For older middle graders looking forward to high school. Ages 10-13

This was a fun book. A great way to put mythology in the modern world. Karen goes to Mt Olympus to stay with her dad. She doesn’t realize her school is made up of god and goddess. I liked the story line and the message of including everyone. I did have a bit of a hard time believing the characters were in middle school. They seemed more high school to me. But I would definitely recommend this book to middle schoolers while like mythology.

This was cute. There were parts where I got annoyed with the characters for what was very obvious but also I am not the target audience. I think this would be a good book for *children* who are gaining interest in Greek Mythology. It also has a bit of a glossary at the end of the book describing the different gods that are in the book with references!

This story about an USAmerican middle schooler who moves in with her dad on Mount Olympus while her mom pursues a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity is fun and cute. It's also pretty standard.

As a fast-paced middle grade graphic novel that riffs on Greek mythology, it works well. As a well-planned story with a logical progression and a tight mystery element, it does not.

I think this would be more appealing to fans of Jean Holub's Goddess Girls series, [b:Princeless, Vol. 1: Save Yourself|14623529|Princeless, Vol. 1 Save Yourself|Jeremy Whitley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1338102188l/14623529._SY75_.jpg|20267064], [b:Lumberjanes, Vol. 1: Beware the Kitten Holy|22554204|Lumberjanes, Vol. 1 Beware the Kitten Holy (Lumberjanes, Vol. 1)|Noelle Stevenson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1435843806l/22554204._SY75_.jpg|42397963] or [a:Raina Telgemeier|21618|Raina Telgemeier|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1200153437p2/21618.jpg] and [a:Faith Erin Hicks|996558|Faith Erin Hicks|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1310012075p2/996558.jpg] than for readers who love Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books, Kate O'Hearn's Greek mythology series, or even Lucy Coats' Beasts of Olympus books.

2 stars for the story, an additional star for the art.

I love Greek mythology, so this was a blast! I loved the ways it stuck to the traditional stories and also deviated from them in interesting ways.

This was super cute

Cute idea, kind of mediocre execution. It was really strange to me to have a 13 year old named Karen (and not for the reasons it's called out in the book). I'm pretty flexible with varying depictions of Greek gods, but this was the least Zeus-like Zeus I've seen.
