Thought provoking
I am not usually interested in Mary, Jesus's mother, as so much hype has been built up about her in so called religious circles. However, i found this book to be an interesting and thoughtful rendition of the Scriptures.
I would recommend it to anyone who seeks a "closer to home" view of what transpired in those days. The reflections for discussion at the end ate a bonus.
