This was my 150th book finished in 2025.

I was instantly hooked; I love the way the author writes. I have to say, it waned a bit in the middle - I felt the story halted a bit. But I like how dark it turned and the ending. A goodie.

So far, I've only read the Metamorphosis from this. It's an incredibly rich story. There are seemingly hundreds of ways to read this story and connect to it. This is one of those stories that shows you your pain is not unprecedented. It feels as if it is just revealing an essential component to being a human
