read for school it was good but also sad

fate, fickleness, burdening, unrecognition

I'm moving this to 5 stars... It's been a month since I read this and I am still stunned, definitely an all time favorite at this point like let's not lie.

Some of these stories resonated with me while some didn't. My favorite aside from Metamorphosis would probably be "In the Penal Colony", "A Hunger Artist", "The Judgement", and short ones like "Children on the Road", "Dresses", and "In the Gallery".

The translation wasn't bad, it just isn't my favorite.
