Book was just fine. The fact that he's called Devil kind of took me out of it.

The pandemic really stole away my ability to focus & read but I devoured this book in a way that I haven't read a book in a very long time. I feel like I finally got my reading mojo back.
I shaved a tiny bit off because, as much as I loved the dialogue & how the main characters verbally sparred & danced around each other, they carried on just a little long at times. The dialogue itself, however, was delightful. So much so that I could see chunks of it being pieced together into a really great audition monologue material - comedic or dramatic or both.
The heroine is feisty and the anti-hero rogue made consent hot af & the foreplay that it should be. The slow burn spicy scenes were absolutely swoon-worthy. I am all in for this series and so glad a friend recommended it to me.
