I really liked this book! I really… felt connected somehow to Kate. I think that we’re very similar, we’re both theater kids, the way the thought about the f-boys sometimes how I think of dudebro jocks 😅 (mostly football ones since I play soccer) It was a bit weird for me to read the scenes with Noah sometimes because I know someone named Noah who plays baseball and is similar to the Noah in this book, so that was interesting. I really liked Raina and Brandie! Those two were amazing. I also liked how the squad would go to one of their houses bringing their clothes to decide what to wear to a party or something like that. I thought this was a really cute book!

This was really sweet and fun! As far as YA contemporaries (or even YA contemporaries written by Becky Albertalli) go, I don't think it brought anything new to the table but it was fun regardless.

Kate is the most self-centered, egotistical... every character in this book sounded like someone out of Bring It On.

DNF -- think I'm just really growing out of YA recently. This felt really juvenile to me. The audiobook narrator didn't help and activity made it worse.
