Very interesting and dark. I can't tell which character I like best--the first time in a while for that to happen.

Well constructed plot and CLEVER escapes. One of the best cat and mouse stories I've read in a while.

Okay, so this was my first ever manga book and I had to actually google how to read the order of boxes on the pages. Come to find out if I had just opened the book the "American way" it would have told me right there. Anyway, I DID enjoy the book, but it just ended. I mean it wasn't even a cliff hanger, I mean I guess it WAS, but I wasn't on the edge of my seat either. I loved Ryuk's character though, he's the the comic relief you need when Light's plans are getting overwhelming.

If nothing else I need to know how this all pans out, so I'm probably going to have to buy and read more of them. At the same time though how does this story line last for so many books?! I'm conflicted. It does kind of make me want to try the netflix series again, most likely only because I think it might show me more than what I want to know. Course, I'm just impatient like that, lol.

I read this in one sitting and immediately purchased all 6 volumes. It's been a long time since I've bought manga, but I am so excited to complete this series. Completely enthralling.
