I'm happy and sad the HEA at the end of Black Sunshine wasn't actually a HEA. Lenore and Solon have many more problems to figure out before they can settle down.

I think their problems with the beast are indicative of real-life marital problems that pull people apart.

In the end, love prevails. As it always should!

First off - I accidentally saw a review mentioning a tail situation before reading this & there was a tail situation right at the start, but I was like "this is it?" ...i later learned that the first chapter was indeed NOT the tail situation, lol. This book was great; everything was a little more compared to the first: darker, sexier, funnier, sadder, etc. It was not hard to guess what was going to happen & even though it was comical, I hated the whole "dracula" bit. It felt stupid. But I did really love the progression of Solon & Lenore's relationship & the overall story/plotline. A pretty good vamp duology; I'd recomend it.

Best Duet

This is one of the best duets I have read. Finally some spice with a solid plot. *chefs kiss* makes my dark heart happy! These characters have so much chemistry and development it makes you want to be them or be with them ;)
