Overall, this was a good book. The main characters were engaging and I enjoyed the storyline and hidden world that was created by the authors. At the end, I found myself wanting more stories with these characters.
There was a lot of detail when describing locations and characters which was helpful, but at times there was so much extra information and detail it distracted from the story and I found myself losing focus. Even with the slow areas, I would read another book in this series.
