Much, much more enjoyable and magnanimous for me than the Inferno was. While reading the Inferno, there was a constant cloud of depression above me throughout, but that cloud was lifted once the Purgatorio began. Dante amazingly portrays his explanations of the soul, search for Christ, and learning to leave behind his past way of life. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but Dante's artistic talent was definitely in the spotlight throughout this part of the Comedy.

C'est un livre qui est trop vieux et que je n'ai pas apprécié à sa juste valeur. peut-être qu'un jour je le relirai. Pour le moment, ce que je peux dire c'est que je l'ai trouvé long et j'ai parfois eu de la difficulté à accrocher.
