Another page turner. Over the top as all Reacher stories are and good escapist reading.
tense fast-paced

Really good and easy read! I liked the concept of the count down and it got me hocked, but it meant I was always just waiting for the big finale to happen and any sort of tense moment prior to that felt a bit underwhelming and didn't quite keep it as exciting as it could have been. But overall, I really liked it and think Reacher is such an awesome character. Would recommend!

It was my first Lee child and first Reacher.... It was kinda slow but after few chapters i was little impressed but if u have read [a:Steig Larsson|6903303|Steig Larsson|http://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/nophoto-U-50x66-251a730d696018971ef4a443cdeaae05.jpg], its slow...
But a good story I enjoyed it :)

Jack Reacher hitches a ride with a busload of senior citizens right before it crashes in snowy South Dakota. In the small town he finds out that the police are trying to protect an elderly witness from the Mexican drug cartel she is supposed to testify against. So, he decides to help out. Reacher novels are always fun, exciting with a lot of action.

Not my favorite Jack Reacher book. I thought it was pretty obvious early on who the bad guy was. I liked the rural setting, but after a while the constant descriptions of the snow and the cold seemed repetitive. If you've never read a Jack Reacher book, start with one of the earlier ones. This is fine for a relaxing read, but not his best.
