Great hero, great plot. Will definitely read the others in this series.
After 8 months FINALLY the 61 hours of this book are done! As my first Jack Reacher novel I would definitely say I am hooked on the character and the story line going forward. I did find however, the hours between 15 and 55 dragged on (for months in my case) and I found myself eyeballing the pages with disdain. That being said, the writer still grips you, albeit not tightly sometimes, and towards the end you're right in there with Reacher with the time ticking down and bated breath. Maybe not a must read book but definitely a must read series.
I might have to buy this one to keep. (I read it as a library book.) It's a great example of pacing for an action/suspense novel. The story is also intriguing and the characters are interesting and well-rounded.

Add in the mysterious building that the Army knows nothing about and a Mexican drug lord, and then you get some of the right answers.
Of the Reacher series I've read so far, this one has been my favorite. And there's no way Tom Cruise could ever do the character justice.

Not my favorite in this series. The formula is starting to wear through the skin on this one. Yet on it goes.
I really enjoyed this one. The action got going quickly and kept on going right until the end. It was another fun, easy, light read to keep me entertained on vacation.

Wow. What a page turner! If you want a book to take you away to another place or to get your mind off the daily grind, this is definitely it. And what a cliffhanger! My reaction was, "Noooooooo, it can't be! Ok, Reacher, I have to find out what happened to you! Where's the next book" Thank goodness I'm behind in the series and the next book is already out. I'm going to get it right now!
