Typical Jack Reacher action read. One of the characters involved in the climax seemed to me to come a bit 'out of the blue' but this was still an enjoyable read.
A quick, easy read. Typical Reacher/Child. I was scared to read it. I didn't want to be sucked back in. But I think I have to read the next one. Like a potato chip says, I can't read just one.
61 Hours is another in the series about Jack Reacher, the wandering ex-MP with a penchant for sticking his nose where it would be safer not to, and then taking satisfying action. Except in this book, unlike most previous ones, some of the likeable characters actually lose their lives. For escapist fiction, it was grimmer than Child’s other Reacher novels. Still, though, it kept me wondering until near the end.

How did he survive this one? A cliffhanger. What?
I want MORE!
Hopefully we will see Susan in another book.
BTW, I called it at 31 Hours (just like Reacher should've). Love it.

This is my first Reacher book.
I needed one of these thrillers to sit back, read, and relax.
There was enough going on not to get boring, and at a certain point I didn't know who to trust anymore.
The only thing that bothered me was the cold. Reacher kept addressing how cold it was and how he didn't feel his face anymore. We get it, okay. I expected more from such a tough guy. Apart from that, the snow and the weather makes this book great as a December read.
