Over all I loved this book. I read it so fast and it was great at getting me out of my reading slump. The pacing was great until the end. The end felt very rushed. I would’ve rated it five stars if the pacing was a little more balanced. I will say though, this is definitely a dark romance. You need to read all of the trigger warnings before picking the book up. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a true dark romance with a toxic relationship at the center and suspense throughout with a balanced portion of spice

I enjoyed this book I just felt like it could have been longer and there could have been more romantic not smutty scenes with her and Cage I like the character well enough and the flashbacks were oh so interesting but it went from flashbacks to smut back to back to back to the end

She was a good one! I liked both Molly and Gage, they're both super strong and complex characters. I'm glad that Carlton decided to write their book because it ate for sure.

My one main comment with this was why did it have to be so short? Honestly, I would have devoured this book even more if it had been longer especially given the ending with Molly.

(Fun fact: I read this having not finished the second book in the cat and mouse duology and still very much enjoyed it)
