Okay, the fact that I read this in a day?? I couldn’t put it down. AMAZING. I loved the story and I love being back in this world 😂 I miss Zade and Addie. But cage?!? Yes, please. 

Also, the last line in this book?!? WHAT. Ugh I can’t wait to read more from H.D. Carlton 🥹

This book gave close to nothing. If this book was written first, I wouldn't have read Haunting/Hunting Adeline. This had the chance to be better if it were longer.

H.D Carlton is the queen of dark romance. This book was short and fast paced but it still felt complete. Cage was classic morally gray with a little golden retriever thrown in while Molly was dark and twisty but slightly hopeful. The plot was well developed and I loved the little references to the cat and mouse duet.
