Interesting, incredibly well researched book. I learned a lot, but also learned I like reading about military history not much at all.
I found this well written. There were separate chapters for each of the men accused of losing the USA for Britain. I liked that the bios were not limited to their actions during the revolution, but also before and after, showing them as real people.
I would have liked having more maps of the world in those years. It would have been helpful in seeing the overall picture. A chart showing the structure of the government or a few paragraphs in the introduction would have been useful.
