3.5 stars. The story was fun, but the plot jumped around more & was less gratifying than the previous Artemis Fowl books. On more than one occasion, I wondered if my book had a printing error because the story didn’t flow & make sense. (It wrapped up most of those loose ends by the end of the book.) It does have a good message about conservation though. Here’s hoping the next book is as enjoyable as the others have been!
Another outstanding story! I'm especially impressed that Mr. Colfer managed to make a time travel story work so very well - that's no mean feat.
I miss the previous narrator. This narrator is good, but I really loved the previous one.

This book was my favorite out of the whole series so far! Only 2 more books to go and I am finished with this series.

I found this one hard to get into and I didn't think the time travel thing was done well this time.

What the hell? Why is Minerva just suddenly forgotten?

I'm not a huge fan of time travel stories, they get too "Wibbly Wobbly". This one stayed fairly direct, but there was still a lot of struggle with characters & timelines. I still don't feel like Artemis is as fun of a character as he was when he was younger.
