“Grief was just love with nowhere to go. It was the echo of a story unfinished."

"Love wasn't about being perfect or about fixing the cracks. It was about holding someone's hand while they healed, and letting them hold yours, too"

I would like to start off by saying that my dates read are not accurate as Spotify unfortunately has a limit on audiobook hours -_-

I read this for a book club pick so I went in pretty blind. Listening to this was decent; the narrator did a good job. I think the story was a bit dragged on at the 89% mark. I was surprised that there was more to be honest. I felt that the story could have ended there and everything after seemed like filler content to wrap up every single thing with a neat bow. It was a cute plot and concept, I actually had high hopes due to that but I wasn't in love with it. I thought the main character was sweet and the mmc was a really good developed character. I felt that the supporting characters were more entertaining than our main ones. This was another book that took the first third for me to really follow the story and enjoy it. It wasn't awful but I wasn't highly impressed with it, 3 out of 5 stars.

This book was either going to be 2 stars or 4 stars for me, so I am compromising and giving it 3. I found it to be saccharine / trite / underdeveloped but it still made me go

This book was for book lovers and clearly written by one too💗 It truly felt like one big love letter to the experience and feeling we receive as readers when we connect to a book on an entirely magical level.

Every little detail and magical thought that went into what this experience was like for Elsy was SO cool and had me gasping, giggling, and in awe of Ashley Poston once again.

This one is really for the book lovers and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who would give up anything to be able to jump in to that one book that felt like home.💙

it was cute and the ending was sweet but it didn’t do that much for me tbh
