Really enjoyed the audio version bringing this story to life. Felt like I was watching a skating documentary. Interesting mix of characters and the author did a nice job keeping the relationships real and complex.

this got to be so unrealistic and frustrating but not in a way that made me root for anyone. there wasn’t even any redemption or an ending that made the drama worth it? wtf??
Very compelling, fun read. It is your typical "scandalous" and dramatic fictional book about figure skating, but I enjoyed it anyway

No because this book pissed me offff. Don’t give me friends to lovers and then do this. In no world would the guy that supposedly has loved you his whole life have revenge sex with your best friend. And if your best friend ever did that they weren’t ever your real friend to begin with. After this happened I checked out of the book and couldn’t forgive Bella nor Heath. This was unnecessarily angsty and for what?? It was taken too far to unrealistic lengths at the end. In the end, all they did was hurt one another just for them to always be on and off for the rest of their lives?? Heck no
I really enjoyed this one and it grew on me the more I read it. Lots of twists and turns. Definitely fun!

Transparently I feel conflicted about my overall feelings about this book. On the one hand this book was dramatically addictive, I couldn’t peel my eyes away from the page when I had the chance to.
On the other hand though, the characters in this book were quite infuriating during many instances, and yet by the end of the book I felt that their character arcs were not explained well/were depicted in a way that as a reader I didn’t see their growth through the pages, I was only told about it.
Also, I did feel that there were some plot holes in this book that, if tied up at the end, would have raised my enjoyment of this book by the end.
With all of this being said though, I really liked the drama, fast paced nature, exploration into figure skating, and interview writing style format that this book has to offer (:
