"Quando rialzo lo sguardo, i dipinti nell’atrio, le mie Madonne, mi fanno salire alle labbra un mesto sorriso."

A me il mesto sorriso sale quando le tiro le madonne

I listened to this audiobook using Libby at 2.0x speed. At normal speed, it's 19 hours long! A very long audiobook. Giving this four stars instead of five because sometimes, I was confused if Grey was thinking something or actually saying it. Ironically, I can't remember what ate yesterday for dinner, but remembered most of this book that I read TEN years ago.

This was the audio version, and I listened to it specifically to hear Zachary Webber's voice. He did not disappoint!

There were some differences from the original book, but it's been a long time since I read it, so my memory isn't as fresh as the movie's portrayal.

I particularly enjoyed getting inside Christian's mind. However, I still feel uneasy about his age during that horrible experience with his mom. He seemed much too young to remember it clearly. Of course, this is just speculation, but I would have preferred him to be around 7 or 8 years old.

Overall, I enjoyed the audiobook and wished it had been longer!

Finally I've had the chance to read the fourth book of the Shades of Grey "Trilogie".
It isn't that special, because, you know, the story doesn't change. But it's really interesting to see the whole story from Christian's point of view.
And I have to say, after reading this version, I'm more understanding towards Christian and his actions. You can see what he sees and you can feel what he feels.
Also a few secrets, that I've already forgotten about, get revealed.

All in all, i can't say much, because there's nothing really "new" in the book, but I think it's worth a read! :)

*Spoiler alert*
I like the end the most because you can see how Christian felt about Ana leaving him and how he coped with it.

Not as good as the original in my opinion.

This book was as good as fifty shades of grey because it is fifty shades of grey

I liked that E.L James now has the story in both Ana and Christians point of view because then you really get to know the characters even more.

I hope E.L James does this for all three books. I would defiantly buy them and read them as well.

Also would be nice if they also made this one into a movie. It would add even more to it as well.
As long as this time they actually put all the sex in it lol. And the way they speak. I love the way they talk to each other the most!!

The audiobook version should be used by the military for torture.
