Very good and concise introduction to Liberation Theology, though dated it's worth the read for any beginner or someone needing a refresher.

Liberation theology is often unknown in America but this book provides a wonderful introduction to this realm of Christian thought that will provide an inspiring new view on the Christian faith and its duties. This book will definitely encourage further study on not only Liberation Theology itself but it also will inspire study of the connected realms of Liberation Theology throughout the world, from the first to the third world or from women’s liberation to black liberation.

read for my jesus and liberation class this year and it was very interesting! i'm not a follower of any religion at the moment, but it was definitely one of the more compelling books on religion i've read.
