I took a break from reading for a bit. Reminded me too much of avoiding life, but there's no author I'd rather start 2019 off with that the Buk himself.

No está mal, hay algunos relatos que son insulsos, pero algunos son muy buenos. Hay duros, divertidos, extravagantes. Lo recomendaría. El estilo es muy Bukowski frases cortas y concisas, si te gusta como escribe le daría una oportunidad.

What can I say other than it's Bukowski? The man definitely had his moments and several of them are contained in this collection of short stories.
I feel like I should’ve started with his poetry. Hopefully it’s better than this. This was a set of short stories which were just filled with misogyny and rape and alcoholism and the shittiest of humans. Listen, I normally love stuff.
I dunno if it’s because I feel like her crusty out himself into these stories and I can’t separate suit from his work but I feel like he put himself into this work…. Which, if that’s the case the dude is a mega POS.
I hated this, the stories weren’t great, the characters abhorrent (which I know was the point, but it wasn’t in an entertaining way). Not sure if I disliked it so much because I myself have leaned into misandry the last bunch of years or if I’m just normal and he/this are just actually terrible.
Wouldn’t recommend.

En principio este libro es como un golpe en la cabeza. Todavía no te duele, pero te deja algo mareado, sin saber exactamente que es lo que ha pasado. Algo así me ha sucedido con este libro. Durante los primeros capítulos o más bien relatos.
El libro junta una serie de relatos cortos escritos de una forma peculiar, en los que el nexo de unión es el sexo, aun que no deja de existir también una existencia algo miserable dedicada al alcohol y las apuestas. Tiene momentos de brillantez exquisita sobretodo en los capítulos finales en los que deja de lado las historias y se centra mas en una crítica social pura que por desgracia será vigente y dolerá igual, pasen los años que pasen.
Realmente creo que merece la pena que este libro esté en las estanterías de cualquier lector ávido de ácido y libre pensamiento alcoholizado y sexual.
